Description

The grower's favourite — now correctly named. Known for years as “NSS”, “Super Natal” or “Transkei”, this is the variety that fills tubs faster than almost anything else in our catalogue. We’ve relabelled it to its proper species name, Psilocybe ochraceocentrata, but the genetics are the same vigorous Cloud920 isolate customers have trusted for years.

Each 10 ml syringe contains a lab-isolated, contamination-tested mycelium suspension ready for grain inoculation. Filled in our ISO-7 clean lab and sealed with an alcohol-wiped luer-lock cap.

Quick cultivation guide

From syringe to harvest in five steps

Inoculate grain
Inject 1.5–2 ml into sterilised grain: rye, oats or millet.

Incubate
Hold 24–27 °C. Visible growth in 3–5 days.

Shake to break
Shake at 30–50% colonisation to spread the mycelium.
4
Move to substrate
Transfer to pasteurised bulk (coir/vermiculite, CVG) once fully colonised.
5
Fruit
22–24 °C, 90–95% RH and indirect light until harvest.
No casing layer needed: this strain pins reliably on its own.

Yes. We’ve only corrected the name to its real species, Psilocybe ochraceocentrata. The genetics are exactly the same Cloud920 isolate we’ve sold for years.

We recommend 1.5–2 ml per jar of sterilised grain. A 10 ml syringe comfortably inoculates 5 to 6 jars.
